Anti Piracy Warning
National Geographic Partners, LLC’s digital screeners are provided to guild members and other invitees solely for personal viewing purposes in connection with awards consideration or other special events, and must not be uploaded to the internet or any computer network, publicly exhibited, modified, distributed, rented, loaned, sold, reproduced (in whole or in part) or given away. Furthermore, guild members and other invitees accessing National Geographic Partners LLC’s digital screeners must not transfer or share their access credentials or codes with any third party. The unauthorized use of copyrighted materials violates state and/or US federal and/or non-US domestic laws and may result in civil and /or criminal liability and/or administrative penalties.
Terms of Use
National Geographic Partners, LLC and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “NatGeo”) welcomes you to the National Geographic Awards website. The “NatGeo Awards Service” includes the NatGeo Awards website, and associated Screeners and other content and services.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE NATGEO AWARDS SERVICE. You agree to these Terms of Use by clicking the checkbox, "I Agree" or other industry standard mechanism during your use of the NatGeo Awards Service or the Screeners. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not use the NatGeo Awards Service. These Terms of Use incorporate The Walt Disney Company Terms of Use (“TWDC Terms of Use”) and your agreement to these Terms of Use constitutes your agreement to the TWDC Terms of Use. For purposes of interpreting the TWDC Terms of Use in connection with the NatGeo Awards Service, “Disney Services” means the NatGeo Awards Service. If any provision in these Terms of Use conflicts with any provision in the TWDC Terms of Use, the conflicting provision in these Terms of Use will control. We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use set forth herein at any time following our dispatch of a notice to you or our posting of the amendment on the NatGeo Awards Service, even though these changes may affect your use of the NatGeo Awards Service. Your continued use of the NatGeo Awards Service constitutes your acceptance of any changes to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any change to these Terms of Use, you must discontinue use of the NatGeo Awards Service. You are solely responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to any changes that we may make to these Terms of Use. The most current version of these Terms of Use will be available on the NatGeo Awards website and application and will supersede all previous versions of these Terms of Use.
1. LICENSE TERMS.
a. Definitions. “Screeners” means the film, program or show and all elements thereof, including video, audio, music, images, artwork, text, graphics and other copyrightable materials embodied therein which are streamed from the NatGeo Awards Service to your compliant device.
b. License Grant. NatGeo grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-assignable, revocable, non-exclusive and non-sublicensable license to access and privately view the Screeners via the NatGeo Awards Service, in each case on a personal, noncommercial use basis solely for press reviews, awards consideration and any other use described in the NatGeo Awards Service. For clarity, this is a license to view the Screeners and not an agreement for sale or assignment of the Screeners. You agree that NatGeo may add, modify and withdraw Screeners from the NatGeo Awards Service at any time.
c. Tracking. You acknowledge that the Screeners accessed using your access credentials may be marked with a digital watermark traceable to you. Such Screeners and any copies made from it will be traced to you personally. If unauthorized copies (including Internet uploads) of the Screeners are traced back to you, you risk civil and criminal penalties.
d. Pre-Release Version. You acknowledge and agree that the Screeners may include a pre-release version of such materials and that NatGeo or its affiliates may modify the Screeners in the final media available to consumers.
e. Third Party Beneficiaries. Any NatGeo-authorized third-party owners of the Screeners are expressly made third party beneficiaries of each of the license and use restrictions set forth in this Terms of Use.
f. Termination Right. We reserve the right to change any part of the NatGeo Awards Service and/or terminate your access to the NatGeo Awards Service at any time, with or without notice.
2. RESTRICTIONS.
You are prohibited from and agree not to:
a. share your access credentials with any individual or entity.
b. circumvent or disable any content protection system or digital rights management software or other security technology that is associated with the NatGeo Awards Service or which controls access to and delivery of the NatGeo Awards Service.
c. (except to the extent otherwise expressly allowed elsewhere in these Terms of Use) edit, modify, translate, create derivative works or adaptations of, decompile, re-sell, copy, rent, lease, reproduce, transmit, distribute, display, broadcast, re-broadcast, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise reduce to a human-readable form the Screeners and/or the NatGeo Awards Service.
d. duplicate or otherwise reproduce the Screeners, or any portion thereof, onto any physical medium, memory or device including but not limited to CDs, DVDs, VCDs or any other such device or medium now known or hereinafter devised.
e. use the NatGeo Awards Service to violate any legal rights of any third party, including any publicity or privacy right, copyright or other intellectual property right.
f. counterfeit, copy or paste the Screeners to any web site or web page.
3. OBJECTIONABLE MATERIAL.
You understand that the Screeners may contain content that may be deemed offensive, indecent, or objectionable, which may or may not be identified as having explicit language or content. Nevertheless, you agree to access and/or use the Screeners at your sole risk and that NatGeo shall have no liability to you for any content that may be found to be offensive, indecent, or objectionable.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.
a. Acknowledgement of Ownership. You agree that the Screeners, including but not limited to video, audio, music, graphics, images, software and text contains proprietary information and material that is owned by NatGeo and/or its affiliates and/or licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not limited to copyright, and that you will not use such proprietary information or materials in any way whatsoever except as permitted by and in compliance with these Terms of Use.
b. Copyrights. All copyrights in and to the Content, are owned by NatGeo and/or its affiliates and/or licensors, who reserve all their rights in law and equity. THE USE OF THE CONTENT OR ANY PART THEREOF, EXCEPT FOR USE AS PERMITTED IN THESE TERMS OF USE, IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND INFRINGES ON THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OWNED OR LICENSED BY DISNEY AND MAY SUBJECT YOU TO CIVIL AND CRIMINAL PENALTIES, INCLUDING POSSIBLE MONETARY DAMAGES, FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.
CONTENT PROTECTION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
- The digital screeners on this site may be individually watermarked and traceable to you personally.
- Do not share your log-in credentials with anyone. They are unique to you.
- The contents must not be copied, uploaded to the internet, shown to or shared with any unauthorized persons, or used for any purpose other than for your personal review.
- We reserve the right to revoke access at any time for any reason.
